Test Engineer
Position Description
Responsible for helping to establish the technical aspects of designing and developing the ISPAN integration and testing program. Works closely with Systems Engineers (SEs), Software Engineers (SWEs), Hardware Engineers (HWEs) and Program Managers (PMs) to understand product requirements and functionality. Designs appropriate test cases and develop test procedures to verify features and functional specifications. Identifies defects through systematic testing and identify key improvement opportunities and potential future improvements. Works closely with the developer and the customer to learn about how the product/feature was implemented. Verifies all code changes in the system and makes sure that fixes work and do not impact existing functionality.
Requirements:
- Experience in unit and integration testing of software in accordance with DoD practices.
- Experience in developing test plans, test reports, test descriptions and test procedures.
- Experience in the use of automated tools to perform tests, track and assess test results, and produce test cases.
- Experience in regression and stress testing of software.
- Experience as a software developer.
- Requires TS clearance.
