Marketing Associate
Responsibilities:- Identify and catalog industrial-oriented and industry-specific websites and publications for use as industry references, advertising media and SEL website portals.
- Monitor various websites and incoming mail/E-mail for industrial-oriented literature requests, sales assistance requests, etc., ensuring a process exists for proper fulfillment that is monitored consistently and refined as requirements change.
- Monitor industrial-oriented trade associations for opportunities to subscribe, exhibit, advertise, submit technical papers, speak and support targeted associations for mutual benefit.
- Monitor SELs industrial-oriented website and publications to ensure content remains current and updated as appropriate by the designated owner.
- Acquire and maintain industry-specific, professional-quality photographs, inclusive of SEL products and solutions as appropriate for inclusion in SEL marketing collateral as requested.
- Serve as the administrative support resource for the SEL Expert Program.
- Assist internal and external stakeholders develop and maintain high-quality marketing collateral including photographs, conceptual drawings, application guides, flyers, brochures, mailers, catalogs, web content, etc.
- Serve as the Industrial department point-of-contact for sales representative inquiries and communications.
- Coordinate regular updates for department meetings, sales meetings, Monthly Business Review Meetings, Sales Force News and Sales Force Central as requested.
- Work with internal stakeholders to construct and update sales representative mail and E-mail distribution lists to ensure complete, high-quality industrial-sales communications
- Identify, measure and improve SEL processes and procedures as appropriate.
- Marketing degree with at least two years of related work experience
- At least two years of related marketing experience
- User-level experience with Microsoft Visio, Excel and PowerPoint software applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Approximately five years of related marketing experience for an industrial supplier of technical products (equipment, software, services)
- 2 years experience with professional-grade graphics and publication software
- 2 years experience developing marketing collateral materials
