SUMMARY:
We are seeking a friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Liquor Clerk to join our team at Scottsbluff Wine & Spirits in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. As a clerk, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers by providing excellent service, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized. We are looking to fill for both FULL TIME and PART TIME positions!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
Customer Service: Greeting customers, providing assistance, and point-of-sale proceedures.
Inventory and Stocking: Restock shelves, assist with receiving deliveries and ensuring accurate inventory counts,
Store Maintenance: Keeping the store clean and organized and ensure the checkout area is clean, tidy, and well maintained.
Compliance: Adhere to all liquor laws and store policies as well as following cash handling proceedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 19 years old
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale system.
Basic knowledge of alcohol products is preferred or a willingness to learn.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
