Overview:
40 hrs/wk; 8a-4:30p, M-F. Primary responsibilities are generating and managing physician deficiency reports and notifying physicians of deficient medical records, managing missing document/holding task queues, release of information, coding radiology and telehealth accounts. Other duties include scanning and analysis of records, answering phones and assisting customers. High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding required. Prior experience in a medical records department of other healthcare office required. CCS or equivalent certification preferred.
