Creighton University is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant to support the School of Medicine.
This is a full time position working at the Creighton University Medical Center Bergan Mercy Campus, near 78th & Mercy Rd.
Key Responsibilities
Provides day to day administrative and clerical support to the Departments of Pathology and Psychiatry, the chairperson and faculty.
Perform complex, advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties at the highest level.
Duties include but are not limited to such as calendaring, meeting/event planning and coordination, communication, both verbal and written, coordinating, and supporting departmental meetings and events (both face to face and virtual), supporting the faculty evaluation process, managing information on various web-based platforms, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing strong customer service.
Successful candidates should have strong attention to details, the ability to multi-task, work with time-sensitive deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment. A successful Administrative Assistant candidate will be proactive, strategic, and organized so that they are able to balance a wide range of responsibilities in the support of their department. Functions as part of a team who can effectively interact with a diverse population of internal and external partners with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
