Job Summary

Our Portfolio Analysis and Reporting team is looking for a Reporting Analyst to join our team. In this role you will collaborate with various business users to ensure accurate, reliable and relevant information is being used for decision making and reporting. You will also provide ad hoc analysis to teams across the organization, identify data from various sources to bring forward and convey through enterprise reports and dashboards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze enterprise business reporting needs and/or compliance and disclosure requirements to ensure accurate, reliable and relevant information is being used for decision making and reporting. Identify the best source for data from the enterprise data warehouse, other system databases and/or external data files.
  • Integrate data sources into useful information. Develop the report, dashboard or data file and determine the best means for publishing based on user needs and ongoing maintenance efforts. Collaborate continuously with business users to ensure reporting solutions meet the business need.
  • Develop, maintain and modify standard reports and dashboards with a centralized reporting process using the enterprise data warehouse and other internal and external databases. Publish reports through a centralized reporting site.
  • Develop, implement and maintain standard reports that effectively communicate key company performance information to be used by Leadership to monitor business results.
  • Develop, implement and maintain reports and data files for other internal teams dependent on Enterprise Reporting expertise. Design report delivery that enables independent analysis and review by the requesting team.
  • Interpret policy and/or procedures and develop, implement and maintain reports or data to be used in meeting Associations compliance with regulatory and other third party agencies; e.g., AgriBank, CoBank, Farm Credit Administration (FCA), Risk Management Agency (RMA)and disclosure to stockholders.
  • Maintain a centralized reporting architecture for standard report publishing.
  • Provide ongoing review of reporting requirements to ensure enterprise-reporting efforts are consistent and well defined.
  • Streamline, automate, and consolidate existing standard and special reports to provide the most efficient way of extracting and delivering required reports, data, and analysis.
  • Document, communicate, train and support business users on new and revised reports and analysis.
  • Understand monthly reporting requirements from the Associations Funding Banks and Crop Insurance Agencies and ensure quality and timely reporting of required data elements.
  • Research and collaborate with other resources to support data integrity within the enterprise data warehouse and various system databases.
  • Recommend changes to data warehouse, other systems, and internal controls to enhance reporting capabilities and/or data integrity.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business Administration, Statistics or equivalent training and experience preferred

Years of Experience

  • 3+ years' experience using software tools to generate database queries, data files and reports.
  • 3+ years Credit, Finance, Crop Insurance or Risk Management experience focused on reporting and risk analysis preferred.
