Surgical Technology Lab Assistant

The surgical technology lab assistant will be a resource for Surgical Technology students and will be responsible for assisting with scheduling laboratory skills and exam sessions, review, index and document checklists, and helping inventory, stock, and track supplies. 

The surgical technology lab assistant will be responsible for:

• Scheduling laboratory skills and exam sessions
• Review, index and document checklists
• Inventory, stock, and track supplies
• Assist with maintaining appropriate records to meet accreditors guidelines.
• Promote a positive learning environment with emphasis on safety and compliance with national accrediting agency standards

• Associate degree in surgical technology
• Ability to pass a background check

• The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
