Nebraska Medicine is looking for a Digital Automation Lead with a unique blend of analytical and creative thinking skills and knack for showing exceptional attention to detail. In this role, you'll lead large cross-departmental digital projects, understand deeply and maintain the data pipelines that feed our MarCom technical ecosystem, own our MarCom personalization and automation executions, and develop, maintain and implement search engine and artificial intelligence optimization policies and workflows.

Essential Functions:
1. Lead cross-departmental digital projects 30%
1.1 Lead large multi-month cross-functional digital projects that stretch across departments.
1.2 Develop and maintain relationships with key IT stakeholders who we rely on to keep our Marketing and Communications digital ecosystem healthy.
1.3 Meet regularly with digital experience colleagues to review large projects, provide guidance and evaluate status, and escalate issues to leadership.
1.4 Mentor and train new digital experience colleagues.
2. Understand deeply and maintain the data pipelines that feed the Nebraska Medicine Marketing and Communications technical ecosystem 20%
2.1 Use SQL and JavaScript/AmpScript proactively monitor and maintain our CRM, Find a Doctor, Find a Location and clinical trials data feeds. Collaborate with digital experience colleagues to fix any issues that arise.
2.2 Develop reliable processes and systems to identify signs for when the team may need to troubleshoot these data feeds.
2.3 Facilitate collaborating with IT, Credentialing, Market Intelligence, Research and any other key stakeholders Marketing and Communications relies on to maintain these data feeds.
3. Own Marketing and Communication's personalization and automation executions - launching, tracking, and optimizing these experiences over time 20%
3.1 Own personalization automation executions - working with colleagues to launch, track and optimize these experiences to best meet consumer and patient needs over time.
3.2 Use SQL and JavaScript/AmpScript to create automations and personalizations.
3.3 Work hand-in-hand with Content Editor, Digital Strategists, and Marketing Automation Specialists as we're developing creative content for automations and personalizations.
3.4 Serve as a go-to mentor and expert the broader Marketing and Communications team can rely on for all things digital automation and personalization.
3.5 Collaborate with Marketing Analyst to develop reporting metrics to prove return on investment for personalization and automation work.
4. Develop, maintain and implement Marketing and Communication's search engine and artificial intelligence optimization policies and workflows 20%
4.1 Develop, maintain and implement search engine and artificial intelligence optimization policies and workflows across the team.
4.2 Develop a robust documentation process as the Nebraska Medicine marketing technology stack evolves, new agents are created, and personalization and artificial intelligence infrastructure are built out so there is a record of the logic behind decisions and recommendations to look back on.
4.3 Collaborate with Marketing Analyst to develop reporting metrics and methods to prove return on investment and gain efficiencies in approaches to gathering Marketing and Communications performance metrics.
5. Follow policies/procedures/regulatory requirements and perform other work assignments 10%
5.1 Comply with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures in addition to regulatory requirements (such as OSHA, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.) and participate in corporate/departmental safety and quality activities.
5.2 Perform other work assignments as required.
