Summary:
Perform various maintenance duties which support machine shop activities. Serve as working crew leader as required, purchase materials as required.
Responsibilities:
1. Under direction, supports the Working Crew Lead with day-to-day activities that are required for power plant operation by:
¿ Assist in the operation of all shop machine tools including lathes, milling machines, hydraulic presses, and grinders. Ensure proper documentation of maintenance work is completed.
¿ Install, inspect, and repair of power plant equipment including equipment in the field.
¿ Perform tasks related to the use and handling of hazardous material.
¿ Routinely act as lead person in coordinating crew activities including ensuring the productivity of craft employees and assisting in the training of new personnel.
