Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | - Must have excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and mediation skills. - Proven abilities in office administration, budget development, staff supervision, and leadership necessary. - Ability to interface effectively with the faculty, staff, and students as well as government officials in the areas of Human Research, Export Control, Conflict of Interest, Research Misconduct, and Responsible Conduct of Research essential. - Must have the ability to establish office priorities and goals and accomplish these goals without supervision and handle and deal effectively/resolve recurring challenges. - Knowledge of current OHRP regulations and AAHRPP Accreditation requirements. - Knowledge of all Export Control regulations (including EAR, ITAR and OFAC) and classification and licensing procedures. Knowledge of the ORI reporting requirements for Research Misconduct. - Knowledge of NIH and other pertinent government Conflict of Interest guidelines, rules and regulations. - Knowledge of NSF and NIH Responsible Conduct of Research requirements. - Accomplished in both oral and written communications. - Excellent negotiation and mediation skills. - Proven abilities in office administration, budget development, staff supervision, and leadership. - Ability to interface with the faculty, staff, and students as well as government officials in the areas of Human Research, Export Control, Conflict of Interest, Research Misconduct, and Responsible Conduct of Research. - Ability to establish office priorities and goals and accomplish these goals without supervision. - Ability to handle and resolve recurring challenges. - Knowledge of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents and greater University of Nebraska rules and regulations pertaining to compliance areas including Human Subjects Research.
