Position Summary | Research Technologist II will perform neuroscience research to study diseases of the brain in rodent models. This person will be responsible for maintaining several mouse strains in the mouse colony and breeding mice to generate double and triple transgenic mice for experiments, as well as allocating mice for ongoing studies. This person will maintain records for and coordinate long-term animal studies. The technologist will be responsible for mouse surgeries, collecting histochemical and biochemical data, as well as performing mouse behavioral experiments and image analysis. This person will perform general laboratory administrative duties such as maintaining and ordering lab supplies. |
