Cybersecurity Analyst (SME) with Security Clearance

Who We're Looking For (Position Overview): Spry Methods is on the search for a Cybersecurity Analyst (SME) to join our team in the National Capital Region. What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities): Responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues. Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause. Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing. Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard. Recommend best practices for IT security. Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs. Individuals will be the primary Cybersecurity Analyst working with additional senior and Jr. level analysts on a rotational schedule for critical mission requirements. Must be willing to support a 24/7/365 mission. Qualified personnel will be adept at cyber incident handling and response, threat detection, cloud and on-premise forensic analysis and response, as well as intrusion detection analysis. Personnel will have one or more of the following GIAC or equivelant certifications (GMON, GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, GNFA, GCTD, GCFR)
Top Secret Clearance Required
