Job Title: Echo Tech Location: Elmhurst, IL Shift: 4-10 hr. shifts with availability from 7A-7P M-F, rotating Saturdays Pay Rate: $34.00 /hr. - $53.00/hr. Benefits: • Medical, dental and vision • 401K • Tuition reimbursement • PTO • Fitness centre membership • Free employee parking • Plus many other employee perks Responsibilities: • Under general supervision, obtains two-dimensional ultrasonic images of the heart including 2D echocardiograms, 2D Doppler echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms and assists physicians in conducting transesophageal echocardiograms. • In doing so, obtains pertinent patient data for interpretation by a board-certified cardiologist, explains purpose and duration of testing to the patient in order to allay fears, and provides excellent customer service. • Obtains ultrasonic images from patients with complex health issues.
