Hospitalist Physician

TeamHealth is seeking a physician to work on a part-time basis on our post-acute care team! Join a team of dynamic, results-oriented professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on patients admitted into one of our skilled nursing or adult rehabilitation facilities
• Drive high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow CMS guidelines
• Work closely with hospice, palliative care, and home care agencies for safe patient transitions
• Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to clinicians within facilities

Qualifications:

• Accepting physicians who have experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, physiatry, PM&R, or geriatrics
• A desire to be engaged with their patients and facilities
• Interest in improving the quality of patient care their patients

Schedule and Workload:

• Saturdays and Sundays
• Light patient load 8 patients a day to start

Expected compensation for this weekend coverage position is an estimated salary range of $45,000 to $70,000 with no cap productivity income potential.
