Job Details

Responsibilities:

As an Application Development Manager, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. These include:

1. Leading a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software applications.
2. Ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
3. Overseeing the entire application development process, from initial concept to final deployment.
4. Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
5. Implementing and maintaining REST APIs and Microservices.
6. Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
7. Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
8. Maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization.
9. Providing technical guidance and coaching to the development team.
10. Continuously researching and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
2. Proven experience as an Application Development Manager or similar leadership role.
3. In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and other relevant technologies.
4. Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
6. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
9. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
