NP/PA- Pediatric Allergy Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Children s Specialty Group. PLLC (CSG) in partnership with Children s Hospital of The King s Daughter (CHKD) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Allergy and Immunology team. Become part of a compassionate and dedicated team of Allergists and Advanced Practice Clinicians delivering high-quality care. The qualified candidate will be providing care in Newport News, Suffolk, and Norfolk, Virginia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric allergy and immunology patients in outpatient setting to include testing, medications, and injections.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans

• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care needs.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric allergy and immunology care through continuing education, research, and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Virginia license or eligible for Virginia license as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One year of allergy experience is preferred but not required, ideally with significant exposure to the pediatric population
• Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
