Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is working with a Level 1 Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Dallas, Texas to hire a Nurse Practitioner. PICU Nurse Practitioner Contract Details:

• $110-$120 an hour
• 13- week contract with possibility of extension
• Shift Requirements:
  Variable days, evenings, nights, & weekends as part of a 24/7/365 coverage model
  Weekend, Night, and Holiday work is shared equally among all team members
  Current shifts include:
  10-hour evenings () Dallas Campus
  12-hour Days/Nights (, ) Dallas & Plano Campus
• Minimum of at least 6 shifts per 4-week block
• Will provide care within their scope of practice and in accordance with the standards of the facility

Requirements:

Acute Care PNP certification by nationally recognized certifying board

• APRN license and recognition as Acute Care PNP by the Texas Board of Nursing
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP
• CPNP-AC prefferred
• Minimum Experience: Acute Care Pediatric NP/PA education; Critical Care Pediatric NP/PA education; Experience with Arterial line placement, Central Venous Line Placement, Chest Tube Placement, Endotracheal Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, PICC Placement
