Proactively monitor and maintain customer network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot network and server problems.
Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Perform routine maintenance and software upgrades on customer equipment.
Serve as an escalation point for Network Specialist/Engineer I.
Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Lead meetings with NOC customers.
Ensure quality standards are maintained on tickets.
Ensure timely updates and responses to tickets.
Assist in developing and training on NOC processes and procedures.
Mentor less experienced team members.
Work flexible shifts and participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

In depth knowledge of Ethernet switching, IP routing, VoIP, and networking principles.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating, troubleshooting, or designing Internet Service Provider Networks.
Bachelor's degree in Computer/Management Information systems, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent required. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Industry relevant certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Adtran, Calix, MEF, etc).
Strong understanding of multiple ISP broadband and core technologies (Adtran, Calix, Cambium, Juniper, Cisco, Ciena, Arista, etc).
Proven ability to lead meetings with customers.
