Required Certifications & Skills:

• Active and valid RN license (NJ or compact)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• NIHSS or Stroke Certification (preferred)
• EDAP 1 and 2
• BVP (MAB) training
• COVID vaccine and booster (preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Provide direct care in the Emergency Department and oversee activities of nursing staff
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions and diagnostics
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
• Understand and comply with EMTALA regulations
• Report suspected child/adult abuse appropriately
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
