Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week with three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required with unit directing weekend coverage based on operational needs
• Float to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed (1:5/1:6 patient ratios on these units)
• Patient ratio experience of 4-6 patients required
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• No call required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required with 2 years of experience minimum
• Previous charge experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Two supervisor references required
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, COPD/asthma, sepsis, pneumothorax, ESRD/dialysis
• Perform special procedures including chest tube management, PCA infusions, bedside monitoring, and IV infusions
• Work with equipment including bedside monitoring for up to 8 patients, ultrasound IV, cardiac monitoring, and lift equipment
